psp power adapter mod

psp power adapter mod's are some of the wiliest of mods. First you have to take your power adapter and take your psp and mash them together. No I'm just kidding about that. Do you want to get a jolt? Are you stupid? What you do is take the psp connector cord from diagram A below and fit it into the power adaptor which you purchased at your local psp mod shop or your best psp modder friend's house. Form what essentially becomes the letter T and up the voltage to approximately (anything below lethal or below a point where I'm at liability. Which I'm not. At any voltage. Just saying. Power.)

That's your best bet for creating a psp power adapter mod on the web. For a ds power adaptor or xbox power adaptor you're better off at walmart.

psp-nintendo ds-sony psp

The PSP, Nintendo DS and Sony PSP are all objects with much affliction attached. Who HASN'T spent hours upon hours up at night wanting to sleep but filled with the anxiety to complete Mission 4 of Socom or the ice mission in Dual Strike. Let me tell you something, I know I have. But I have to go now and for some reason my blog has been "locked" it's probably because I repeated a post by accident. Oh well.

downgrade psp

PSP Hacks :: PSP Downgrader

For all you that do not like the read-me that came with the downgrader this should help you get from 2.0 down to 1.5

I've used this program myself and I can say that it is safe and it does work, IF you follow the directions.

Downgrading from 2.0 to 1.5

The following files are necessary...

MPH Downgrader
1.50 Update EBOOT --go to: http://www.psp-hacks.com/psp-downgrade.php
2.0 Update EBOOT --go to: http://www.psp-hacks.com/psp-downgrade.php
you'll need to upgrade to 2.0 first, if you're using 1.51 or 1.52

* Please note Norton AntiVirus and/or other virus scanners will incorrectly detect the MPH Downgrader as a virus. You can see here it is 100% safe to use.

This will ONLY WORK on a 2.0.

You need to unzip the files MPHDowngrader.zip and EBOOT_1.50.zip. Use a program such as WinRAR, 7Zip, or WinZip (check Google). Once they are unzipped, you're ready to begin.
Set up a USB connection with your PSP and your computer.
Once the connection is set up, open up My Computer and browse to the removable disk that is your PSP. You'll need to set a few things up here.
When you first double click to open up the PSP on your computer, you'll be in what's called the root menu. There will be a PSP folder showing if you are in the right place.
Copy over to your PSP the following files to THIS location in the root folder...NOT in the PSP folder or any other folder. Index.dat and h.bin should both be in your root directory.
Once this is done, open up the PSP folder and then open up the Photo folder. Here, you will copy overflow.tif over, keeping it in the Photo directory and not a sub directory.
Now, go back to the PSP directory and go into the Game directory. If there is not already, create a folder called UPDATE. It MUST be called UPDATE and nothing else.
Open up the new UPDATE folder and then copy EBOOT.PBP into this folder from your computer. Once all of this is done, you're ready to downgrade. So far, so good.

Double check that you followed the above instructions before continuing.

Good.

Now, disconnect the USB connection from the computer and plug the AC adapter into the PSP. As with all upgrades, you must have a certain percentage of battery life as well as the AC adapter plugged in, or this will not work.
Go to the Photo icon on your PSP and scroll through the pictures to get to overflow.tif. You do NOT have to press anything. It will start automatically. Two strings of letters/numbers will appear. This is normal and good.
Wait AT LEAST 30 SECONDS and then turn off your PSP by holding the power button up until it fully shuts down. Then, start your PSP again.
You will now go over to the Game icon and scroll down to memory stick. Select it and you should see the 1.5 update.
Select it and start it up. Go through it as you've done before with your 2.0 update and follow the prompts. When the update reaches 99% it will crash and show an error. THIS IS OKAY. DO NOT PANIC. Once again press the power switch up until it fully turns off.
Now, turn the PSP back on. You will get another error. Just press the "O" button and it will restart after rebuilding the system data. Then just set it up as you did when you first got your PSP and you have a brand new 1.5 PSP. Be responsible with it.
If you have any concerns, please check this again before going elsewhere due to being extremely busy. Good luck and be careful with this.

how to download music to psp

You want to learn how to download music to psp, well here it is.

It really isn't that hard to transfer files from your Windows PC to you Sony PSP but here is what confuses everyone. The "PSP Value Pack" doesn't have everything that you need. You're definately going to need a larger Memory Stick Duo as an example because 32MB just doesn't cut it.

What else you're going to need is a USB CABLE to connect from Windows PC to your Sony PSP. Luckily these are pretty easy to get. Check any cables that came with removable hard drives, digital cameras, printers and I'm sure you'll find one. Worst case you head down to Best Buy and pick one up for $8.

Alright when you've got this stuff here's what you're going to have to do. Plug the Sony PSP in the Windows PC with a USB Cable and plug your PSP into the wall. Make sure both things are on. In the PSP, click the "USB Connection" button (in the settings menu) and your PC should beep and tell you that it's found a new "removable disk". This is your PSP.

Open up My Computer on your PC and scroll down till you find the PSP. It will probably be the letters "E-Z" and will be the last one on the list. Now open up the folder and if there isn't a folder called PHOTO on it, make one by right-clicking in the folder. A menu should come up go to NEW and then FOLDER. Rename the folder PHOTO. Now you can drop any JPEG images you want to have viewable in your PSP while your oot and aboot.

Now if you want music, you do the same thing you just create a folder called MUSIC instead and drop MP3 format music files in there. ONLY mp3 works. So no wmv (windows media files) or whatever weird format Itunes uses. So your itunes music won't work on your psp.

Yeah, I'm amazing. Later.
